History: The middle child of three girls, Julie was born into poverty and knows of little else. At the age of six, her abusive father left their family in the Bronx, and her mother moved with her 3 daughters to Southport to attempt a new life. The family barely managed rent, settling in a small walk-up apartment in a poorer section of the city. Julie was constantly in and out of trouble as a child, getting caught for shoplifting when she was 9 and repeatedly cutting class from public school. Though loving and hard-working, her mother found very little time between 3 jobs to raise or nurture her children. Julie got along poorly with her older sister, Shannon, and the two argued more often than not. Her father occasionally stopped by uninvited, accomplishing little more than a fight or two before leaving once again. Having had little discipline, she is a chain smoker, having been so since the age of 11.
